We’re so glad you can join us on this delectable, smooth, creamy and fun filled journey.
We are a family-run gelato cart hire business based in Perth. With our very own Brady Bunch of five dazzling young girls, we are passionate about teaching them the value of hard work, learning to present themselves well, allowing their ideas to grow and chasing their dreams.
No matter the season here in Perth (or anywhere in the world for that matter!) gelato never fails to delight and bring a smile to people’s faces. That is why we are on this journey with our gorgeous gelato carts. Bringing joy and deliciousness to our customers and their guests – making their events something that will be talked about for months.
Our story
Hi my name is Joanna and I am the proud owner of The Mobile Gelato Cart!
I have been dreaming about saying that for so long… I have always wanted to have my own business, that would allow my personality to shine! I think I am getting there with that – I’m always learning and I love what I do!
My husband, John and I have blended our 2 families of 5 gorgeous ladies 6 years ago! As you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment! Haha!
John is my biggest supporter and has always encouraged me to go for it. His support has allowed me to quit my job of 14 years to focus on this little gem of a business!
This business is all about bringing fun, deliciousness and happiness to any event. We also wanted to show our girls what hard work was all about, and the ins and outs of running your own business (while we learned ourselves!!). Teaching them how to present themselves well while serving our delicious gelato, have a chat, and make sure everyone had a smile on their faces is invaluable.
I look forward to growing more, as a person and a business. It is definitely a dream come true to finally spend my days working in my own business, because with me, what you see is what you get! I love making jokes, making people laugh and smile. (I think I’m pretty funny, so often I’ll be laughing out loud with you! Ha ha!!)
I use “!!” a lot, I type how I talk!!
And then we have our biggest supporters of all, the 2 special additions who bring the whole family together, Scout & Timothy!
They cheer us all up in an instant and make us laugh always! We wouldn’t be the family we are without them!
